How do weapon and attachment unlocks work?
The developer describes three progression paths on Steam. Playing matches and leveling up reputation unlocks more weapons and equipment. Weapon challenges earn attachments. Kills with a gun unlock skins for that gun.
| You want to unlock… | Official route |
|---|---|
| More weapons and equipment | Play matches and level up reputation. |
| Weapon attachments | Complete weapon challenges. |
| Weapon skins | Get kills with the gun whose skin you want. |
These routes come from the Steam game description. The public listing does not provide a complete unlock-level table, challenge counts, weapon statistics, or an experience formula. Use the current in-game progression screen for those numbers instead of a pre-release list or a guide for the original Hood Warfare.
Which attachments can you customize?
The published loadout description names sights, magazines, grips, suppressors, and other attachments. It also says players can set perks and equipment before a match. Attachment availability may depend on the particular gun and the challenges shown in your game; the store page does not promise that every slot exists on every weapon.
The same listing does not name every gun, attachment, challenge, or unlock level. If you are deciding what to work toward, start with the challenge shown for the weapon you actually use. We have not published a ranked “best gun” list because the public source gives no comparative weapon statistics or verified match tests.
Why might my Hood Warfare 2 progress look wrong?
The October 12 version 1.0.10 notes say the developer fixed issues involving loadout presets not saving and progression sometimes failing to display at the end of a match. This describes a patch, not a guarantee that every account or later build is free of bugs. Check the installed version and your in-game challenge screen before treating a missing end-of-match display as lost progress.
