The Hollow Day 1 Guide: First Relic & Maze Puzzle

Collect the purple pieces, connect the wall puzzle, then bring the relic back to the elevator.

The reviewed run awards Lord Umberhallow BLOXikin after the return. Solving the panel is only part of the task. The steps below were checked against independent creator recordings by KAM Gats and Feelplays on 23 October 2026.

Day 1 refers to the opening-night task from 22 October 2026 in Pacific Time (PDT, UTC−7). The publication and review dates below are editorial dates. A fixed daily maze reset time remains unconfirmed; check the schedule notes and match the current floor and task.

How to get the first relic in The Hollow

  1. Enter the hub building and take the elevator to Floor 1

Join The Hollow by Roblox Presents. In the hub, enter the main building shown at the start of KAM Gats’ route and step into the elevator. Select the first floor. You should arrive in a red-carpeted interior with a Floor 1 sign and an instruction board beside the maze entrance.

The board sets out the objective: find the puzzle room, complete its puzzle, claim the relic and bring it back while avoiding the entity. Use those instructions to confirm you are attempting this task.

  2. Search the maze for purple pieces and find the puzzle room

Move through the connected corridors and look for glowing purple puzzle pieces. Collect them as you explore. The wall panel in the puzzle room needs these parts; reaching the room before collecting them does not complete the task.

KAM Gats reaches the puzzle room at about 1:35, then returns to the maze for a remaining piece. Use his approach clip to compare doorways, wall frames and the red-carpeted corridors when you lose your bearings. Keep track of the route back toward the elevator as well as the puzzle room.

The in-game board warns about an entity. Avoid it while searching and on the return journey. The footage does not establish one universal safe corridor or an exact piece layout for every server, so this guide does not promise a fixed series of turns.

  3. Connect the wall puzzle’s two marked endpoints

Return to the puzzle room with the pieces. The panel contains square sections with glowing purple line segments. Adjust the sections so the line makes an uninterrupted connection between the two marked endpoints.

Start at one endpoint and follow the line across each tile boundary. Wherever the neighboring segment does not meet it, adjust that tile and check the next join. A nearly complete drawing still needs a continuous connection all the way to the other endpoint. Both reviewed recordings show the same connected-line style of wall puzzle.

Use the original close-up to compare the panel if its interaction is unclear. The desktop recording displays M — Free mouse; this can help you identify the relevant cursor control in that version. We have not checked mobile controls.

  4. Claim the relic and carry it back to the elevator

After the panel is solved, claim the first relic using the in-game prompt. Then retrace your route to the elevator. The task includes getting the relic out of the maze; stopping beside the solved panel leaves the return step unfinished.

Continue avoiding the entity on the way back. In KAM Gats’ recording the puzzle is completed around 2:16 and the return sequence finishes around 2:49–2:58. Feelplays’ separate run also shows the puzzle followed by the return toward the elevator.

  5. Check for the badge and Lord Umberhallow BLOXikin reward

Watch for the completion notification after you return. KAM Gats’ recording shows a badge-award notification at approximately 2:55 and identifies the Day 1 item immediately afterward. The official badge is associated with The Hollow; the matching avatar accessory is published by Roblox.

Check your Roblox inventory for Lord Umberhallow BLOXikin. The item listing was marked not for sale when reviewed, so the catalog page is a reference for the item’s identity, not a purchase step in this walkthrough.

Stuck at the purple wall puzzle?

There are gaps or missing sections
Return to the surrounding maze and search for the remaining purple pieces. The reviewed run shows this collection step before the panel is solved.
The line looks close, but the task has not advanced
Trace it from the starting endpoint tile by tile. Check each shared edge, bends included, and follow the connection to the second endpoint. Compare your panel with the linked close-up.
The panel is solved, but there is no completion notification
Check whether you have claimed and returned the relic. The instruction board includes both steps. A solved panel alone is not the completed run.
Your floor or puzzle looks different
Compare the floor sign and task instructions first. This guide covers the first relic in the two reviewed Day 1 recordings. The official event has changing mazes, so a later-night objective needs its own instructions.

Before you leave: completion checklist

Use this checklist to distinguish finding the puzzle from finishing the quest. The boxes are optional and reset when the page reloads.

The reviewed footage establishes this completion route. If an item is missing after a confirmed completion, keep the badge and task details when reporting the problem through Roblox’s official support. We have not verified a universal fix for delayed rewards or disconnects.

First relic: common questions

How do I get the first relic in The Hollow?

Enter the hub building, take the elevator to Floor 1, collect the purple puzzle pieces in the maze, and complete the wall puzzle by connecting its marked endpoints. Claim the relic and carry it back to the elevator to finish the run.

What is the Day 1 reward in The Hollow?

The reviewed Day 1 footage awards Lord Umberhallow BLOXikin after the first relic is returned. Roblox has both a badge and a shoulder-accessory listing with that name. Check the completion message and your inventory after finishing.

Why is the wall puzzle missing pieces?

The reviewed footage shows missing pieces being collected in the surrounding maze before the wall puzzle is completed. Search for the glowing purple pieces, then return to the puzzle room and check the board again.

Does solving the wall puzzle finish the quest?

No. The in-game instructions also require claiming the relic and bringing it back while avoiding the entity. Check for the badge or reward notification after returning; solving the panel alone is an intermediate step.

Can I use this route for every night?

This guide covers the Floor 1 puzzle shown in two Day 1 recordings reviewed on 23 October 2026. Roblox describes changing mazes during the event. Match your current floor and puzzle before following the steps; later-night routes are separate.
