The Hollow Day 3 Grave Code: Puzzle Solution & Reward
Calculate the lifespans. Order their symbols. Return the relic.
For the shortest-lifespans riddle: death year − birth year → choose the three smallest ages → enter their symbols from smallest to largest. Set slots I, II and III, press Open, take the relic and return to the elevator. The completed runs show the Festering Felix badge.
This guide cross-checks original recordings by KAM Gats and Roblox Master Guides. Their successful symbol combinations differ. Match your current riddle; the examples below are not a universal code or a fixed maze route. “Day 3” identifies the recorded task, not a confirmed daily reset hour.
Finish the third-relic task
How to complete Day 3 in The Hollow
Enter Floor 3 and read the task board
Join The Hollow by Roblox Presents, enter the hub building and select 3 in the elevator. The entrance board requires finding the puzzle room, solving it, claiming the relic and bringing it back while avoiding the entity.
Find the stone crypt and read its riddle
Search the maze for the stone puzzle room with gravestones and a three-symbol grave lock. Check the adjoining part of the room for additional stones. Record the name, birth year, death year and symbol on each one, and remember your route back to the elevator.
The reviewed sign asks for short lifespans and an increasing order. If your sign asks for something else, follow its wording rather than forcing this solution. These recordings do not establish a universal route, monster-safe room or solution for a different riddle.

Calculate every lifespan, then select the three smallest
Subtract birth year from death year for each gravestone. Compare those differences, not just the earliest birth dates, earliest death dates or physical position of the stones. Keep each result attached to its symbol.
For example, Roblox Master Guides shows Mabel Voss with 1859–1903: 1903 − 1859 = 44 years. KAM Gats separately shows Ada Fenn with 1826–1876: 1876 − 1826 = 50. These are arithmetic examples from different recordings; calculate your own room before selecting the three smallest results.

Set all three symbols, press Open and take the relic
Sort the selected three ages from smallest to largest. Set the symbol for the smallest in slot I, the next in II and the third in III. Use the arrow controls to change a symbol, check the complete combination, then press Open.
KAM Gats’ completed selection is broom → hat → pumpkin; Roblox Master Guides’ is broom → cat → pumpkin. These examples demonstrate why copying a creator’s code can fail. After the grave opens, take the relic before leaving.

Return to the elevator and check Festering Felix
Carry the relic back through the maze to the starting elevator. Opening the grave is an intermediate step. Both original recordings show the Festering Felix badge notification after the return: KAM Gats at about 3:25 and Roblox Master Guides at about 3:35.
The official badge belongs to Roblox Presents’ The Hollow. Roblox’s matching Festering Felix item is a Head Accessory, listed as not for sale when checked. Check both your badge and avatar inventory after finishing; these recordings do not establish a delivery time for every account.

Day 3 grave code: what does “Three wicks burned short” mean?
Use the three shortest lifespans, in ascending age order. In this reviewed riddle, each gravestone supplies a pair of years and a symbol. The subtraction chooses the stones; their symbols form the lock combination. You do not enter the ages as a numeric keypad code.
| Stage | What to write down | What goes into the lock |
|---|---|---|
| Calculate | Death year − birth year for every stone | Keep the result beside that stone’s symbol |
| Compare | Identify the three smallest results | Discard the other stones for this riddle |
| Order | Sort the selected ages from smallest to largest | I = smallest; II = next; III = third |
| Submit | Check all three symbols together | Press Open, take the relic and finish the return |
- The lock still will not open
- Re-read the sign, check every gravestone, recompute each difference and verify its matching symbol. Check slots I–III in order before pressing Open. A creator’s combination only applies to that recording.
- You only compared three stones
- Check the whole puzzle room and its adjoining space. Missing another shorter lifespan can change which three symbols belong in the answer.
- The grave opened but no badge appeared
- Take the relic and complete the return to the elevator. The checked badge notifications appear after that return.
Day 3 completion checklist
This guide covers the hub’s third relic. Demonology’s partner quest, Dead Rails rewards and ticket-shop items have separate objectives; their requirements and ticket payouts are not inferred from this maze run.

Floor 3 grave puzzle: common questions
What is the code for The Hollow Day 3 grave puzzle?
For the reviewed shortest-lifespans riddle, subtract each gravestone’s birth year from its death year. Choose the three smallest ages, sort those ages from smallest to largest, then set their matching symbols in slots I, II and III and press Open. There is no universal symbol combination: the two successful recordings use different selections. Read your current sign first.
What does “Three wicks burned short” mean?
In the reviewed riddle, it points to the three people with the shortest lifespans. Compare death year minus birth year, rather than just the earliest birth or death dates. Enter the corresponding symbols in ascending age order.
Why does broom, cat, pumpkin not open my lock?
That is Roblox Master Guides’ successful example, not a code for every run. KAM Gats succeeds with broom, hat, pumpkin. Recheck all local gravestones, your riddle and the symbol attached to each selected age. Set all three slots before pressing Open. A failed attempt alone does not establish a game bug.
What is The Hollow Day 3 reward?
Both reviewed original recordings show the Festering Felix badge after returning the third relic to the elevator. Roblox also lists a matching Head Accessory. Check your badge and avatar inventory after finishing; opening the grave alone is not the completed return task.
Can I follow one fixed route to the grave room?
The recordings show a maze leading to a stone crypt with gravestones and a three-symbol lock. They do not establish one fixed sequence of turns for every server. Use the room as a landmark and track your return path to the elevator.
