Which Hood Warfare 2 maps are named by the developer?

The Steam store description names Downtown, the Suburbs, The Trenches, and Chicago Mall. The developer’s 1.0.10 patch notes also refer to the small Supermarket map. These are five names supported by published sources, not a claim that the game has exactly five maps.

Named map or setting Published source What the source establishes
Downtown Steam store + our menu screenshot A named location, also shown selected with Turf War in Create Game.
Suburbs Steam store The description calls it “the suburbs”; this page uses Suburbs as a short label.
The Trenches Steam store One of the named locations.
Chicago Mall Steam store One of the named locations.
Supermarket Patch 1.0.10 The developer describes it as a small map while discussing spawn protection.

Downtown

Downtown is named in the official store description and visible in our Create Game screenshot. The Downtown map guide shows a Turf War setup and a street-level image, with explanations of the map selector, bot settings, objective indicators, and scoreboard. It does not rank routes or claim safe spawn positions.

Suburbs

The store names the suburbs among the game’s settings. It does not publish a Suburbs layout, spawn diagram, or list of buildings players can enter. A map image or a route description needs a current-build check before it belongs here.

The Trenches

The Trenches is another location named by the developer on Steam. The name alone does not establish sightlines, cover positions, or whether a particular weapon type works best there; we will add those details only after a verifiable map review.

Chicago Mall

Chicago Mall appears in the same official list. The store discusses indoor combat across the game generally, but it does not identify objective sites, entrances, or a floor plan for this particular map. We therefore do not label a trailer frame as a Chicago Mall route.

Supermarket

The 1.0.10 announcement calls Supermarket a small map in its explanation of spawn protection. That is a patch-note observation from the developer, not a measured size comparison by this site. The note gives no layout or supported-mode list.

How do you inspect a map before a match?

The Steam listing says a bot match lets you choose a map, mode, and match settings, then add bots. If you own the game, the current match-creation screen is the place to see which maps are selectable in your installed build. Do not assume that the four examples in the store are the whole menu; an update can change the selection.

For mode objectives, read the six-mode guide. Neither the store description nor the cited patch lists which modes work on every map. Start with the Downtown setup and screenshot guide for a concrete example. Other map pages will follow when we have enough distinct evidence to explain their layout or settings.
